Open Question: Can you help me find a replacement laptop?

I had a macbook pro that I got for $200. This was only because it was on ebay on thanksgiving. My brother smashed my laptop, and now he needs to buy me a new one. I have a max budget of $250, but what I want is some nice, sleek, not-too-new(new=expensive), but thin-ish laptops. Do not worry about the price, just give some ideas(obviously not like999+). I need a form factor around the size of the 2006 macbook pro, but a smaller screen is okay(13 is the smallest i would go). I'm hoping you guys can come up with some good ideas.
