Open Question: What should I do about Christmas this year?

I'm 16 and I just recently spent several weeks with my father who lives out of state. I usually only see him for 2 or 3 days a year, but this year I decided to go to his house instead of him coming to a hotel where I live. We were talking about when I could come back next. He suggested Thanksgiving or Christmas vacation. I'd like to go out for Christmas, considering I haven't spent a Christmas with him for almost 11 years. My mom said she's fine with it, but I'd feel guilty leaving her behind, as she has never spent a Christmas with out me. What are some things I should consider, and what should I do? I'd also be spending it with all of my aunts and uncles on my dad's side, and my two half siblings, and step mom.
